A newborn is only a newborn for a fortnight. Cheeks fill out, fingers uncurl, and the impossibly small version of your baby is quietly replaced by a slightly larger one. studio1935 exists for that short, sleepy window, and for the birthdays and family years that follow it.

When to book
Newborn sessions are reserved by your due date, not a fixed calendar date. You hold your place while you are still expecting, and we set the exact day once your baby arrives.

Get in touch in your second trimester and tell me roughly when baby is due. A small deposit holds your window, no exact date needed yet.

Fresh 48 · the first hours
An optional session at the hospital or home in baby’s first 48 hours, for those very first yawns, tiny fingers and family cuddles.

Newborn · first 5–14 days
The sleepy, curled-up days, in studio or at your home. We confirm the session once you are home and settled.

Sitter sessions, first birthdays, cake smashes and family portraits as the years go on. Many families come back for each chapter.

About the studio
Hi, I’m Jolene
I’m the photographer behind studio1935, specialising in newborn photography here in Singapore. Over the past four years I have photographed hundreds of first sittings, and I still find every one quietly wonderful.
My sessions are calm, safe and never rushed. Babies are handled gently, parents are guided through every step, and the whole thing is built to feel like a soft morning rather than a performance. The aim is simple: pictures that feel the way your family actually felt.

Most families reach out in the second trimester. You reserve by your due date, and we lock the exact day once baby has arrived, ideally within their first two weeks while they are at their sleepiest.
Completely normal, and exactly why we book by due date rather than a fixed one. Your window simply shifts with baby. No penalty, no stress.
Always. After four years with newborns, every pose is led by baby’s comfort, the space is kept warm and calm, and feeds and breaks happen whenever they are needed. Nothing is ever forced.
Newborn and cake smash sessions can be held in studio or at your home, Fresh 48 happens at the hospital or home, and family sessions can be indoors or outdoors around Singapore. We sort the details together when you enquire.
